Demetrius Crawford, aka King Crawford, has undoubtedly been a former CFL player who turned trial into triumph by doing something that always came naturally.
Crawford is a rare personality who not just has tried to transform the mindsets of people through his viral workout videos but also the lives of student-athletes in football through his one-of-a-kind non-profit organization called “DreamChasersNeverSleep.” DreamChasersNeverSleep provides time, resources, motivation, and proper direction for student-athletes ages 6 – 18 who play football. It is a youth sports and recreation program that provides an excellent experience for the youth. A big part of the DreamChasersNeverSleep organization is the annual free youth football camps Crawford hosts every summer and the 7v7 traveling football program, which is a youth football team who gets to travel and play in 7v7 tournaments. The 7v7 is a program for middle school and high school football players to help them develop their skills in the offseason, where the 7v7 team gets the opportunity to compete in a non-tackling. The DreamChasersNeverSleep organization has grown and helped over 3000+ student-athletes prepare for their football future. King Crawford also started sharing his workout videos that the average bodybuilder who lifts weights didn’t have a physical and highly competitive league among the nation’s top athletes. Crawford demonstrated a flare in his videos that attracted everybody to what he was doing. Crawford’s videos stormed through YouTube, WorldStarHipHop, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Yahoo Sports, and Bleacher Report. He believes that social media has changed a lot over the years, but what has kept him going is his honesty in his fitness craft. His transparency as a coach and influencer and his genuine intent to make fitness lovers and athletes feel motivated to do their best.
